Hassle free website TLC

Imagine the situation: you have a fast, functional, new website, all the plugins you need are ticking along and the right people are finding your business because you’re posting content every week.

You login and see that theme and plugins updates are due. Easy you think to yourself, I’ll just click here and be on my merry money making way again.

Sadly, the WordPress fairies aren’t playing ball and the updated version of your SEO plugin doesn’t play nicely with the updated version of your caching plugin. Before you know it your website it a mess, the carefully configured calls to action don’t take people anywhere and the images just show error messages. Or, worse than that, you’re faced with the soul sucking WordPress “white screen of death”

What happens next?

A) You pour yourself a (large) glass of wine and convince yourself that no one needs a website because all the fun stuff happens on social media

B) You forget all the fun things you had planned for the day (week or month?), start Googling ‘technical words’ (hint: ‘white screen of death’ is a great place to start) and prepare yourself for the loss of your sanity

C) You frantically start reaching out for recommendations for web developers who respond well to “I have a problem and can’t access my site”

Alternatively, you could avoid the issue entirely (or at least live in blissful unawareness if something does go wrong) because you have a website fairy on your side.

Maybe you already have hosting and just want someone to keep an eye on your dashboard and ensure you never need to deal with any technical issues. Or you’d like to have your site hosted, maintained and kept secure by someone who knows how important it is that you carry on spending time doing the things you love. You know, the things that inspired you to create your dream business in the first place, rather than washing your technical problems down with wine. Either way, I have a package for you!

If you have a course or membership website or just one that needs a little more TLC each month, let’s chat and create a perfect customised package that is designed specifically for taking a load off your mind.

FAQs

Does it matter if I already have hosting?

No. Most hosting providers will let you cancel your hosting early and together we can ensure a painless move from them to my hosting.

what if i have a course or membership website?

I love technical sites! In addition to these packages, I am more than happy to put something together that meets your specific needs. So, if you’re looking for more than just general maintenance, security, and basic edits, let’s chat.

What if I need more than a few hours of custom development one month?

We’ll jump on a call and have a chat about what TLC your site needs doing and then I will provide a separate proposal for that. This project cost will take into account any discoutned hours you have as part of your package.

What is a plugin analysis and why do I need one?

One of the great things about WordPress is the endless options for plugins! However, too many plugins, especially if they conflict with each other, can slow your site down. As not all plugins are created equal, I will have a look at the ones you use and give you feedback of ones you can replace or eliminate completely. I will also make suggestions for any plugins I think you could use to improve security and functionality.
