365 Days of Love Notes

How to make time for self care every day with minimal effort.

If you started 2020 with big dreams of the opportunities, growth and success the new year would bring only to have the rug pulled from under your feet, you are not alone.

I think it’s safe to say none of us anticipated the catastrophe that 2020 has been and that many of us have survived the year by the skin of our teeth.

And that’s ok.

2020 has been unprecedented, scary and challenging.

It has left a lot of us clinging on for dear life with emotions ranging from disbelief to frustration, fear and uncertainty, with everything in between.

And throughout the year we’ve been surrounded by social media and all the comparisons it brings – the people who have had their best year yet, those whose businesses have flourished, the people who have loved every moment of being forced to slow down.

And that’s great.

But it’s not where you’re at.

The daily struggle to be motivated is real, as is the never-ending feeling that you’re not doing anything well enough, that you should have dealt with, fixed and managed your emotions by now and should just be getting on with things in this new world.

And that’s also ok.

I am sure you know deep down that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be feeling what you’re meant to feel. But sometimes the head chatter overpowers your intuition and it’s all too easy to get caught up in the external noise.

But instead of delving into a(nother) self help, development or mindset book, how would it feel to spend 2021 taking a small daily action towards inner peace?

How would it feel to have daily accountability, a daily nudge to take a step back, to put the To Do list down and to live in the present?

If that sounds freeing, join me as we journey through 2021, and whatever it may bring, together.

What Are The Love Notes?

These daily Love Notes are your reminder that everything is as it’s meant to be and that nothing is meant to be perfect.

They turn up in your inbox to remind you that your feelings are valid, they don’t need fixing and you don’t need changing.

They serve as a daily prompt to take time out of your day to be present, to catch your breath and to sit down with a cup of tea and recharge.

Each day you will be reminded to tune out the head chatter, tune into your intuition and to trust yourself.

Each Love Note is delivered to your inbox meaning there’s minimal effort required to help you make self care a priority for a whole year.

What You Get

Love

A Love Note delivered to your inbox every day for one whole year.

Time

A reason to sit down and take 5 minutes to yourself. Every single day.

Prompts

Daily prompts to live in the present, find something to be grateful for, acknowledge your feelings, give them space and then move on.
Why Do I Need The Love Notes?

Let’s be honest, 2020 has been a lot.

It’s left you feeling weak, vulnerable and not quite ready to face the world again.

And right now it probably seems that making time for yourself should be the last thing on your mind but here’s the thing, making a small commitment to yourself each day keeps the mind monkeys away. It enables you to be present, to identify your feelings and make peace with them and to find the inner calm that’s currently hiding from the world.

But, let’s fast forward to the end of 2021 when you’re still feeling overwhelmed and inadequate, still believing that you should have done better.

Can you face the thought of still not trusting yourself, of being caught up in all the should bes and should dos?

Instead of spending 2021 reeling from the impact of 2020, it’s time to embrace the turmoil and find your inner peace.

It’s time to put yourself first.

Ready to make time for daily self-care every day with minimal effort?

Meet The Author

Hi, I am Lottie

I’m the Founder of Imperfections and Reflections – a little corner of the world where I hope you come to feel at home. Where you come to understand that you’re perfectly imperfect just as you are, no fixing required.

Having spent the last few years on my own journey managing mental wellbeing and anxiety, I found my calling in supporting others to nurture their belief that we do not need fixing. It took me a lot of failed attempts at fixing and improving myself to realise it was all unnecessary. And along the way I learned how to feel my feelings, to lean in, embrace them, acknowledge them and then move on.

On 1st January 2020, I decided on a (sober) whim to write a Love Note a day for the entire year as a way to keep me grounded, in the present, grateful for daily occurrences and not caught up in my head chatter. Over the year I have had so many messages and comments from people telling me how much these daily Love Notes have helped and supported them, I wanted to extend them into the wider world to impact more people.

I am on a mission to empower women to realise they do not need fixing, can feel all the feelings and look after themselves and their mental wellbeing amidst the chaos of every day life.

Love For The Love Notes
“Needed to read this just now. We ended the year in a whirlwind- and not the good kind- and its just been a daily barrage of things to deal with that its already to the point where I’m falling asleep in chairs at the end of the day and can’t remember when I last ate. I have so many hopes for this new year, so much I want to get done and return to doing, but I feel like I can’t even catch my breath.”
